Smoking Appliance
This usually manifests itself for the first time when you try to light your fire or stove after a period of inactivity. |
If your appliance has worked fine but suddenly starts smoking we recommend you stop using it immediately; if smoke can enter your room then so can carbon monoxide. |
This is a silent killer gas that is tasteless, odourless and detectable only by a carbon monoxide alarm. |
There are a number of common problems that cause a fire or stove to smoke, including a blocked flue, but there can also be other reasons that cause a chimney to malfunction, all of which we can help you with to get you back to a warm and safe state. |
Again once this problem has been seen then call us in for an early diagnosis as it is unlikely to solve itself. |
